As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy. 

Job Summary: 

The HR Specialist will provide support to the HR team by implementing people management strategies and administering HR programs. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the HR team by implementing people management strategies and administering HR programs
  • Distribute, collect, and track all contracts or offers of employment and additional new hire paperwork
  • Assist with onboarding and off boarding employees in alignment with company policy and country legislation
  • Maintain files and personnel records to ensure information is accurate and up to date
  • Liaise with operations teams to ensure all employees have appropriate site clearance and authorization prior to mobilization
  • Prepare documentation for employee relations cases
  • Assist with processing Power Awards in collaboration with other functions
  • Update salaries in HR systems to provide payroll with salary adjustments
  • Coordinate and manage absence management, including sick, annual, and maternity leave, to ensure compliance
  • Maintain data integrity and create reports to demonstrate compliance with work time regulations, minimum wage, and other statutory requirements
  • Assist with field employee communications regarding HR programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • English proficiency required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of work experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work
  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports containing findings and recommendations and perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
