Long Term Internship (Year Round) - Human Resources

**CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE CHICAGOLAND AREA**

This role will have a primary focus on hands-on coordination and administrative support of learning & development programs. The HR intern will interface with employees and vendors daily and will be required to demonstrate high levels of organizational skills, work ethic, collaboration, and customer orientation. This role will report into the Organizational Development (OD) function.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all logistical components of learning and training programs, including scheduling, securing conference rooms, placing catering orders, communicating with employees/participants, generating and analyzing registration reports, and preparing learning materials for instructor-led sessions
  • Create and administer feedback surveys to determine program effectiveness; analyze data and make recommendations for improvement
  • Create PowerPoint slides with charts and other metrics (bar charts, tables, etc.)
  • Respond to employee questions about programs in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate table and room setup for learning programs
  • Load, launch, and track participation of e-learning modules
  • Ensure that vendor management processes and procedures are followed when onboarding a new vendor
  • Partner with vendors to execute on delivering programs
  • Manage the learning calendar; ensure programs and resources are accessible
  • Provide logistical support for other HR team members, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ideal candidate will be a 2021-2022 graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • High level of customer service acumen
  • Willingness to take initiative and identify opportunities to assist
  • Comfortable working with quantitative data and MS Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Anticipated time commitment:  15-30 hours per week
