This position is based out of Feeding America’s Chicago office location in the heart of downtown Chicago. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. Interns can be in the office an average of 2 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) and work from home on other days
• Collaborate with team members and food bank staff to gather insights on technical needs and challenges.
• Develop clear, step-by-step instructional guides and materials for onboarding and managing skilled technical volunteers.
• Research charitable food delivery models across the country, including trends, best practices, and gaps.
• Analyze findings to identify opportunities for integrating Feeding America’s OrderAhead platform into long-term delivery strategies.
• Prepare a final report and presentation summarizing recommendations and project outcomes.
- 6/3/25 through 08/22/25 (11 weeks total - 40 hours per week)
- $16 - Undergraduate
- $17 - Students between Undergrad and Graduate school (starting grad school in fall)
- $18 - Graduate School
• Experience or coursework in research, data analysis, or project management.
• Interest in nonprofit operations, technology, or food security.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Preferred areas of study or majors: Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, Technology, or Data Analytics.
