This is a hybrid position based out of Feeding America’s Chicago office location. At Feeding America, we believe in offering a flexible work environment. Employees can be in the office an average of 2 days a week (when not travelling for work) and work from home on other days. Employees also have access to a 30-day “work anywhere” program during the course of each calendar year that can be combined with PTO and/or holidays.
The Opportunity

As such, we maintain transparent salary ranges and clearly defined practices for how our team, including new hire salary offers, moves through these ranges. You can expect us to offer the best salary up front based on these clearly defined pay practices with little room for negotiation. We make exceptions for highly experienced (multiple years of at-level experience) new hires in accordance with our pay practices. Once hired, employees have the opportunity to progress through salary ranges via regular merit increases and step promotions.
Salary Range: $71,000 - $76,000 Based on Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Streamlines content workflows to enhance efficiency across storytelling and campaigns.
- Manages production timelines to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Organizes and maintains content libraries, including Canto and internal systems, for easy access and version control.
- Support metadata tagging, file naming conventions, and version control.
- Set up and manage campaign folders on Canto to ensure campaign assets and content are accurately uploaded and stored.
- Assist with distribution and regular communication of assets and content across internal platforms and external partners as needed.
- Coordinates cross-functional approvals to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
- Partner closely with Coordinator, Integrated Marketing to ensure all content is delivered to specs and media/channel requirements.
- Ensure all content meets distribution specifications for delivery to media agency, including accessibility, editorial, and brand standards before final delivery.
- Manage brand & content requests and help funnel through teams.
- Collaborates with Coordinator, Integrated Marketing to support integrated marketing content needs.
- Serve as a point of contact for content-related logistics and troubleshooting.
- 1–3 years of experience in content operations, marketing coordination, project management, or a related field.
- Experience with meta tagging implementation and best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of process, structure, and follow-through.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or basic content formatting tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and brand compliance requirements.
- Understanding of content distribution specs for digital, social, and paid media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, content strategy, or content governance is a plus.
- Experience supporting creative or content production teams.
