Be at the center of patient flow in a critical healthcare environment. This role ensures seamless admissions, transfers, and discharges while supporting military healthcare operations that serve thousands.
Location: Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis AFB, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1700 (flex schedule)

Position Overview
The Admissions & Disposition Clerk manages patient intake, transfers, and discharge processes, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process patient admissions and discharges
- Verify eligibility using DEERS
- Maintain patient records and update systems
- Coordinate patient transfers and bed assignments
- Support casualty reporting and tracking
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient status
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 6–12 months medical administrative experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with DEERS or similar systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Typing proficiency (50 WPM preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in military healthcare setting
- Familiarity with MHS GENESIS
