Medical Records Clerk job in Nellis AFB, Nevada
 
Protect and manage critical patient information. This role ensures accurate handling of medical records in support of patient care and compliance.
Location: MOMMC, Nellis AFB, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0730–1630
 
Position Overview
Responsible for maintaining, processing, and safeguarding medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Scan, file, and retrieve medical records
  • Maintain electronic and paper records
  • Support record reviews and audits
  • Manage record lifecycle and archiving
  • Ensure compliance with privacy standards
  • Utilize systems such as HAIMS and JLV
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in medical records management
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/privacy standards
  • Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HAIMS or JLV
