About the Role
Support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by providing accurate outpatient and professional services coding for Military Treatment Facilities across the U.S. Your work helps ensure providers are supported and patient care is properly documented and reported.
This role is ideal for coders looking to build or strengthen their federal healthcare experience in a structured, quality-focused, remote environment while contributing to a mission that supports service members and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Code outpatient specialty and primary care encounters
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
- Resolve coding edits
- Meet DHA accuracy and productivity standards
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years medical coding experience
OR - 2+ years coding experience in an MTF
- Active professional services coding certification
- Eligible for DHA background investigation
- Remote CONUS availability
Contingent Upon Contract Award
This position is contingent upon the successful award of a federal government contract. Employment offers, start dates, and onboarding are subject to contract award, funding approval, and government authorization. Candidates may be asked to participate in pre-award screening and qualification activities to support a timely transition upon award. No work may begin until the contract has been awarded and all government requirements are met.
