Mt Vernon Developmental Center - Mount Vernon, OH
Full-Time | Day Shift

Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to support a healthcare facility in Mount Vernon, Ohio. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about improving patient mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
 
You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and monitor patients while developing individualized care plans that drive measurable outcomes.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including range of motion, gait analysis, functional assessments, and neurological testing
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide ongoing assessment and reassessment of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, reports, and patient records
  • Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to interdisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in the development and presentation of treatment plans
  • Support training and mentorship of physical therapy students, assistants, and therapy aides
  • Engage in continuing education, in-service training, and program development initiatives
What You’ll Need
Licensure & Certification:
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Ohio
  • Current BLS card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Experience in clinical rehabilitation and functional assessment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices
  • Ability to perform detailed clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Work Schedule
  • Full-time day shift schedule
  • Additional hours may be required based on patient care needs
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role may require:
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting (assisting patients with mobility)
  • Frequent movement and physical activity throughout the workday
  • Working in a clinical healthcare environment
  • Use of appropriate safety and protective equipment when required
