Behavioral Healthcare Provider (LPCC – Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility – Massillon, OH
Full-Time | Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) + Occasional Weekends/Holidays
Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Healthcare Provider to support the Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility (IRJCF). This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about working with adolescents and making a meaningful impact through therapy, rehabilitation, and behavioral health support.
In this position, you will work under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) team to provide both group and individual therapy to youth in a structured, supportive environment focused on long-term behavioral change and positive outcomes.
What You’ll Do
  • Provide group therapy sessions for youth with clinical or court-ordered treatment needs
  • Conduct individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned caseload
  • Develop and deliver clinical summaries, progress reports, and treatment updates
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all services provided
  • Collaborate closely with the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) team to support treatment plans
  • Contribute to positive behavioral outcomes and rehabilitation efforts for youth
What You’ll Need
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • Current BLS card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Licensure (One Required):
  • LISW – Licensed Independent Social Worker
  • LPCC – Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
  • IMFT – Independent Marriage & Family Therapist
  • OR Registered Nurse with:
    • ANCC Certification
    • Specialty in Mental Health or Psychiatry
(All licenses must be active in the state of Ohio and maintained per continuing education requirements.)
Experience:
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy to adolescents preferred
  • Experience working with justice-involved youth highly preferred
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong clinical background in adolescent behavioral health and therapy
  • Ability to build rapport and engage with youth populations
  • Experience with group facilitation and individualized treatment planning
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional weekends as needed
  • Holidays required if they fall within the workweek
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role may require:
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 60+ lbs occasionally)
  • Working in a secure juvenile correctional environment
  • Exposure to patients with behavioral or psychiatric conditions
  • Use of appropriate protective equipment when required
