Medical Billing Clerk job in Nellis AFB, Nevada
 
Ensure accuracy in healthcare financial operations. This role supports billing and reimbursement processes critical to sustaining military healthcare services.
Location: MOMMC, Nellis AFB, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0600–1800 (within window)
 
Position Overview
Responsible for processing medical billing activities, claims management, and supporting revenue cycle operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit medical claims
  • Review patient records for billing accuracy
  • Process DD2569 and UBO documentation
  • Follow up on payer claims
  • Maintain billing records and reports
  • Support timekeeping and administrative functions
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in medical billing or coding
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing processes
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in military billing systems
  • Familiarity with UBO processes
