Position Overview
The PEBLO serves as a case manager and liaison within the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES), supporting service members through medical evaluation and benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate IDES case management activities
- Counsel service members on disability processes and benefits
- Track case progress and maintain documentation
- Coordinate with providers, command staff, and VA representatives
- Assist with appeals and case reviews
- Ensure compliance with DoD policies
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Experience with DoD disability systems or case management
- Strong communication and counseling skills
- Ability to manage complex cases
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior PEBLO experience
- Military healthcare or VA experience
