VA CMOP Shipper/Packer — Charleston, SC
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Federal Staffing Resources (FSR) is proud to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) program. As a Shipper/Packer, you’ll help ensure Veterans receive their prescription medications safely, accurately, and on time — every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content
  • Selection of appropriate type and size of container
  • Inserting enclosures in container
  • Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage
  • Closing and sealing container
  • Applying labels or entering identifying data on container
  • Operates various types of packaging equipment
  • Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment
  • Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner
  • Maintains inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration dates
  • Act as a "runner" and deliver messages, documents, or items to various locations at the facility when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to read and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to meet production and accuracy standards.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
