Position Overview
The BMET performs maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medical devices
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with clinical staff on equipment needs
Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in biomedical equipment technology
- 2–4 years experience repairing medical equipment
- Knowledge of medical device standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Military or hospital experience
- OEM equipment training
