THE ROLE:

As Senior Manager, Revenue and Reporting, you will primarily be responsible for the management of our national Pre-authorized Debits (PAD), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and Electronic Scanner programs. You will also oversee all trend-based Accounts Receivable performance reporting, including Bankruptcy, Insolvency, NOI Proposals, and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) filings. Reporting to the National Director, Tenant Accounts, you will serve as the vital link between our Operations teams and key internal partners such as IT, Treasury, and our FCR host banking institutions, collaborating closely on various initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:    

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Accounts Receivable Summary reporting.
  • Audit and approve monthly Pre-authorized Debits files in JD Edwards (JDE), upload to FCR host banking institution for processing to subscriber base and ensure auto-posting of monthly rents in JDE.
  • Audit and approve Electronic Funds Transfer Payor setups in JDE.
  • Prepare interim or crystallized accounting as needed for Termination and or Lease work out negotiations.
  • Create and maintain JDE employee profiles for Operations team for site-based cheque scanner users.
  • Configure and evaluate Account Service Agreements for new bank accounts, tailored for PAD and EFT tenancies in JV partnerships.
  • Coordinate with our Treasury & IT teams, and BMO on new and existing bank account setup thresholds, including testing of new accounts, Assigned Client Value, and Originator ID setup.
  • Participate as SME (Subject Matter Expert) on various project teams for IT initiatives on Accounts Receivable system enhancements, including UAT testing and deployment assistance, system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:  

  • Extensive experience working in a similar role at a Commercial Real Estate organization. Experience with REITs is an asset.
  • Excellent commercial lease interpretation skills.
  • Strong understanding of computerized accounting systems; prior experience with JD Edwards (JDE 9.2) is required.

  • Outstanding time management and organizational capabilities with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, dealing with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or CFA).
