THE ROLE:
 
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report to the Manager, People & Culture, and you will be overseeing and managing one of the most important parts to the overall Employee lifecycle. Partnering closely with internal clients, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment across Canada and focus on creating an amazing Recruitment Experience for all involved. 
  
WHAT YOU WILL DO: 
  
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Recruitment Process will be yours to own and manage. When a hiring manager has a need to find top talent on their team, you will Partner with the business throughout the process, partnering with them to help source, interview, acquire and onboard the right candidate. You will ensure hiring managers understand our process, what their responsibilities are and are applying best practices to the tools available to them. 
  
We have amazing Summer Intern and Campus Recruitment Programs that will also fall under your remit. You will be responsible for managing the relationships we have with colleges, universities and ED&I recruitment partners. 
  
You will also help promote and oversee our Talent Brand by working alongside our Marketing & Communications team and partnering with various job boards, such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed. 
 
Recruitment is an important part of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. You would be helping to ensure we are attracting, sourcing and engaging talent from all experiences and backgrounds.

WHAT YOU BRING: 
  • Post-secondary education in Management, Human Resources, or related area. 
  • 3-5 years of doing full-cycle recruitment in-house. 
  • Proven success at active and passive candidate sourcing, along with previous experience of developing full-cycle recruitment plans. 
  • A true people person! You know how to create connections and lasting first impressions 
  • You love problem solving and working in a team. 
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Tech savvy and very comfortable with Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally Jobvite. Proficient with Linked Recruiter and Microsoft 365. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Demonstrates good judgment and excellent service delivery skills. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. 
  • Strong sense of urgency. 
  • Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
