Frisco Bowl Marketing & Digital Media Intern Job Description – Summer 2026
All internships for the Frisco Bowl are unpaid internships and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internship allows the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate your school or work schedule. Some nights and weekends may be required.
The Frisco Bowl is looking for a Marketing/Digital Media Intern to assist the team with marketing and social media initiatives to promote the bowl game and increase brand awareness. The intern will report to the Executive Director and assist with day-to-day marketing and digital media initiatives for the bowl game. The internship will take place from mid-May to August 14th, 2026.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies and social media campaigns to increase overall brand awareness of the Frisco Bowl and its events.
- Assist in planning and creating monthly social media content calendars and supporting marketing and promotional efforts, including social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, X, and other digital channels.
- Create social media content and marketing materials using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and other digital design tools.
- Assist with on-site content capture and digital coverage during Frisco Bowl promotional events and community activations.
- Assist in the planning of all sponsor marketing activities for the game.
- Assist in coordinating Frisco Bowl marketing research projects.
- Assist in the scheduling and organization of logistics during promotions and events.
- Assist with creation of recap books of all media, collateral, and licensing items.
- Contribute to original content and marketing materials that may be featured across the Frisco Bowl’s official social media channels and digital platforms.

- Collaborative, innovative, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Deadline-driven and capable of working under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- A creative content contributor with an interest in social media and digital storytelling.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be an active college student. Preferably pursuing a degree and/or career in Sports Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing, or Public Relations.
- Must receive college credit for internship with our company.
- Must be able to work 15–20 hours per week
