Entry Level Human Resources Coordinator-PART TIME
Description
- Assist with new hire onboarding and employee offboarding ensuring accurate documentation and departmental notifications.
- Prepare and submit accurate HR reports including FMLA, COBRA, Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment Claims, and other compliance-related requirements.
- Maintain and update HR files, personnel records, and company directory.
- Respond to routine inquiries from applicants and employees regarding HR policies and procedures; escalate complex issues to VP of HR.
- Protect the integrity and confidentiality of HR records and information.
- Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team.
- Collaborate with Payroll and Accounting as directed by the Director of Payroll and Benefits.
- Assist with and/or conduct new hire orientation sessions.
- Support planning and execution of company events, including employee recognition programs, holiday celebrations, and retirement events.
- Be available to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, including non-standard hours (nights, weekends, holidays, and outdoor events as scheduled).
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn – we can train technical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, with discretion to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn HRIS and other HR-related software quickly.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed for events.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Prior office or HR-related experience (required).
- Bilingual in Spanish (fluent) strongly preferred.

- This is not a remote or hybrid role – candidates must be available to work onsite.
