About the role:

The Group Reporting Manager will report to the Senior Group Reporting Manager. This is a new role in a growing team. You will support the Group’s internal financial reporting requirements including preparation of monthly reports to the board of directors and Executive team, drafting presentation slides and preparation of other group reporting documents. You will work closely with the Finance Technical Team in Portugal to lead the design and build of reports using SAP BPC.

The Group Reporting Manager will also assist on various ad-hoc projects ranging from impact analysis of new reporting requirements to assist with any new and on-going reporting requirements, more detail on these reports is included below. You will need to be detail orientated, thrive under the pressures of project-based work and enjoy taking job ownership.

What you’ll do:

  • You will lead the month-end reporting process, working closely with the Senior Group Reporting Manager, to ensure delivered accurately and on time
  • You will help to co-ordinate and prepare the Group’s internal reports, including board and exec reporting and operational expense analyses
  • Extract and prepare the complex monthly KPIs for the Group, working closely with the Business Intelligence Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • You will prepare reports using both Excel and PowerPoint, along with SAP BPC
  • You will support on a range of different and varied projects across the business on an ad-hoc basis, including the initial on boarding and reporting of new acquisitions and their ongoing performance
  • You will also report on  the impacts of new strategies, and other topics of interest to the Executive team
  • You will also help support the Senior Group Reporting Manager on leveraging the SAP BPC environment to provide a suite of reports for use across the business, for example to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors and the FP&A team amongst others

Who you are:

  • You are a qualified Accountant with history in both practice and industry
  • You have group reporting experience 
  • You have experience working with large data sets / databases and solid excel skills
  • You have experience in financial reporting (IFRS) and preparation/ review of management accounts and ideally, have experience of reviewing or preparing reports for senior management
  • You possess strong accounting software skills, preferably within a group environment, implementation experience an advantage
  • You have demonstrable experience in leading projects and meeting expected delivery deadlines
  • You have the ability to demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high growth environment. Experience of similar working environments would be ideal
