Senior Payroll and Benefits Executive –UK & International – Maternity Cover

The role:

Your main responsibilities will include processing the monthly data input for the UK & International payroll, delivering monthly reports, managing the benefits administration and generally ensuring a successful and accurate payroll service.

As Farfetch continues to expand and change rapidly, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with previous experience in dealing with payroll queries, has a strong understanding of existing and upcoming HMRC legislation, working with a variety of payroll and HR systems and in managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll manage the monthly data input of payroll in the UK and supporting International and Browns with payroll operational assistance where needed
  • You’ll ensure strong communications with the People Coordinators, Advisors & Partners so that data is accurate and all changes are captured in our rapidly changing workforce
  • You’ll own monthly payroll reporting including the gross to net reports and other required compliance reports
  • You’ll support the implementation of the new payroll solution.
  • You’ll manage the monthly benefit reconciliation and work with Faircare to ensure accurate benefit reporting and benefit variance reports
  • You’ll liaise with benefits vendors when needed to ensure the monthly processes work well and/or are improved where needed
  • You’ll support Auto-Enrolment (AE) reconciliation and audits and support on moving elements of the AE scheme in-house
  • You’ll manage the UK payroll inbox and queries and ensure we provide a strong SLA with replying to queries
  • You’ll run our monthly benefit introduction meetings in line with the wider UK People Team and onboarding programme
  • You’ll be the onboarding ambassador and go-to person for payroll & benefits
  • You’ll run HRIS data maintenance and checks
  • You’ll partner with Portugal accounting to ensure benefit v payroll reconciliation
  • You’ll process Farfetch For All share schemes where needed

Who you are:

  • You have experience of working on a large UK payroll (300+ employees)
  • You are highly analytical and numerical with strong experience in data inputting and analysis
  • You are confident in payroll calculations and analysis 
  • You remain calm when working under pressure
  • You are able to work independently and manage a high volume workload
  • You are an approachable team member for day to day payroll and benefits queries
  • You are a proactive problem-solver who is always looking for ways to improve payroll processes for the business
  • You are able to work to tight deadlines and ensure accuracy
  • You have a strong communicator who is confident building and managing relationships with our internal employees, new starters and benefits vendors
  • You are passionate about Farfetch and willing to go above and beyond to work towards our common goal
