The Role

Manage the delivery of global People Comms strategy to assure effective and open internal communications and engagement with People Initiatives, while fostering a strong sense of belonging & brand advocacy amongst Farfetchers.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the Head of Employer Brand & People Communications to ensure that the people promise and our values are fully leveraged throughout the employee experience & all communications are aligned with the overall employer brand & communications strategy;
  • Develop communication plans for internal initiatives related with people functions strategy & agenda;
  • Oversee messaging for global quarterly townhalls and live business updates, preparing our CEO, Executive Team and Senior Leaders in partnership with Corporate Communications and Investor Relations
  • Partner with different internal teams (corporate communications and strategy) to deliver all business related news and written content that needs to be communicated internally;
  • Build close day-to-day working relationships with the wider people team, as well as the regional teams, to ensure a consistent approach to all people communications and global internal initiatives;
  • Build a strong day-to-day working relationship within the EB & People Communications Team and with other teams (eg. Communications, Office Management, Talent Acquisition, Development, etc to ensure an integrated approach to internal communications);
  • Manage the approach to global people communications, including use of appropriate channels (online & offline), in order to deliver an improved & consistent employee experience & to increase the sense of belonging across our global employee community;
  • Ensure that all communications are fully aligned with the people promise messaging;
  • Work closely with the rest of the team (namely employer brand) to ensure seamless integration & planning of content to Farfetchers, including a consistent tone of voice;
  • Work with the rest of the team to ensure the ongoing evolution of global internal communications channels, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders & users, to ensure that they deliver the people promise & engage Farfetchers globally;
  • Work closely with the People Communications Specialists to oversee the delivery of the global communication calendar, working closely with the regional Internal Communications reps and People Communications Business Partners.

 

Who you are:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in Marketing, Media Communications, PR, English or related discipline;
  • Proven experience in internal communications or brand engagement role, with very strong content writing skills;
  • Experience of rolling out internal communication initiatives globally, with an ability to navigate a global, matrix organisation;
  • Skilled at developing and delivering creative, strategic solutions for initiatives that need engagement throughout different channels and targets;
  • Highly influential, super relational and skilled at finding the ‘win:win’ scenarios
  • Gravitas to influence at the most senior levels within the organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Engaging and creative communication style, adaptable to different audiences and channels
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A media / digital enthusiast with a demonstrable interest in social media, mobile technologies and emerging communication technologies and channels
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience of dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders
