The role:

We are looking for a talented Logistics Contract Manager who will be focused on ensuring service excellence throughout our supply chain on behalf of our Boutique Partners, with a focus on customer journey. You will create and deliver fulfilment and returns strategy in partnership with the Black and White business strategy.


What you’ll do:

  • Providing Retail expertise & specialist logistics knowledge to any B&W projects, where this support is required
  • Effective Stakeholder management
  • Managing forecasting and ensuring that volume fluctuations are managed efficiently and within SLA
  • Develop strong relationships with the Partner’s management team
  • Support Black & White in formulating, owning and driving the Logistics account strategy
  • Manage KPIs to support contractual agreements
  • Ensure all new business projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop effective relationships through regular site visits and meetings (in collaboration with Black and White)
  • Build trusted and productive relationships with key internal touchpoints on behalf of the Partner
  • Lead the monitoring of existing logistics practices and identify and deliver process improvements with deliver value to the Partner and Farfetch
  • Lead the development of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure they are adhered to at all times
  • Prioritising development requests in line with business requirements (projects, new lanes, changes to existing specifications)
  • Displays knowledge about the market/ delivery trends in order to provide market-leading delivery solutions
  • Evaluate ongoing opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements at the partner account and country lane level
  • Establish appropriate solutions to help the Partners manage and measure all aspects of Logistics performance and service metrics
  • Cost/benefit analysis on new solutions to make recommendations to the business
  • Analyse and report the impact on any cost changes to the business

 

Who you are:

  • You have a proven track record of success, working as a part of the project team delivering on complex projects.
  • You have experience with senior stakeholder management - excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and relationship-building skills
  • You have extensive knowledge of eCommerce/retail market
  • You have strong carrier management and operational experience
  • Project management experience (including the creation of business cases/managing Capex requests)
  • Proven experience of successfully leading on the development of strategy and business plans, thinking strategically and innovatively and to turn that thinking into a viable plan
  • You have experience managing flexible teams of staff to achieve challenging deliverable objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with large groups of stakeholders
  • You have experience developing and upskilling the supporting team
  • You are a creative thinker/ problem solver
  • You are able to travel once a month
  • You think analytically - able to interpret opportunities, trends and issues in data and market information
