Senior Product Manager, Brands -Store of the Future

About the role:

The Product Manager is client-facing and serves as the voice of our customer, working creatively and pragmatically with brands and internal teams to address challenges and provide solutions.


What you’ll do: 

  • You will set the long-term vision and strategy for SoF’s product offering to brands, working with Managing Director, Director of Product development and Head of Engineering
  • You will deeply understand and communicate both the end-user and client needs; be the voice of the client to internal teams
  • You will drive definition of MVP for each client by capturing requirements and customer journeys for product teams to execute on
  • You will enforce discipline in the prioritization of features and initiatives to ensure the SoF OKRs are aligned with Farfetch strategic goals.
  • You will lead collaboration and own quarterly and annual roadmaps with ideas expressed as Epics
  • You will collect and synthesize inputs from clients, engineering, SoF commercial team, business units, and the market, to lead business and product direction
  • You will develop a strong point-of-view about the SoF vision for brands to influence stakeholders and manage expectations with partners
  • You will represent product team at the client level as the point of contact for SoF product development, facilitating communication of features and training material back to the client
  • You will track dependencies, unblock development, and manage schedule to ensure successful delivery to client
  • You will gather data to synthesize and report on KPIs to measure success of product and for stakeholders
  • You will foster strong productive relationships with clients and SoF non-technical teams such as Commercial and Marketing
  • You will update both internal and external stakeholders on progress and blockers
  • You will travel to client sites and Farfetch offices in Paris, Lisbon, and Porto
  • As a new business unit, the product focus may pivot to meet commercial opportunities. In such circumstance the Product Manager will be expected to embrace and adapt to change.


Who you are: 

  • You are from a degree background in Information Systems or related field
  • You are experienced in Retail, Tech, or E-Commerce companies
  • You are able to show a track record as a senior product owner or product manager
  • You are able to easily build relationships with the different players of the business, at different levels of the organization (from C-Level to Analyst)
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously, respond to work with urgency and understand deadlines
  • You are experienced in working in large scale organizations on a multi-national level is a plus
  • You are knowledgeable in Scrum methodology
  • You are experienced in client-facing roles, especially in the luxury industry, is a plus
  • You are an excellent communicator with Portuguese or French languages as a plus
