The SEM team at Farfetch consisting of 10+ people working a day-to-day basis with a dedicated team of developers and data scientists. Made up of experts in the field from a variety of different industries, they are responsible for working across all of our global markets. They make sure our presence remains high and mighty with new and existing customers, setting us apart from our competitors and ensuring we are always one step ahead of the curve.

This role will give you exposure to key stakeholders within the industry, involvement in some exciting new projects (marketing automation and optimisation) and the opportunity to work in a flat structure and a supportive and motivated team.

The Role:


As a SEM Analyst within the Paid Search team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day optimisation of paid search campaigns to drive performance in line with ROI targets.

You will as well as support our long term initiatives (attribution models testing, reporting, optimization of LTV, CAC, etc) in relationship with data science, analytics and BI teams, and ensure those long term projects are delivering added value to Farfetch’s customer acquisition activities.

What You’ll do:

  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve profitable growth in Paid Search campaigns
  • Update reports and provide analysis around ROI, campaign performance, purchasing patterns and website traffic to optimise all campaigns
  • In charge of updating our internal bidding solution COS targets in light of analysis and reports
  • Work with a team of developers to automate marketing processes and scale up our campaigns (Adwords scripts, in-house solutions)
  • Support data science, analytics and BI teams, and be their main point of contact to Paid Search team
  • Drive independent optimisation plans through analysis of data sets
  • Adopt a continual ‘test and learn’ approach to all performance marketing activities
  • Assist with all other Performance Marketing projects as necessary

Who You Are:

  • Proven track record of optimising marketing / commercial activities with a data centric approach
  • You will have analytical experience in a commercial context, being an expert in SQL, BigQuery and Excel (experience with Python/R would also be a bonus but not essential)
  • Digital Marketing experience is preferred but not essential - our experienced team can teach you everything you need to know
