    • Hourly Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00

Position Overview: The TMS Technician Training Lead trains, educates and prepares TMS Regional Trainers to deliver TMS training according to the standards established by the CMO, TMS Center of Excellence.   The TMS Technician Training Lead monitors the training performance of TMS Regional Trainers by establishing and monitoring quality metrics and feedback tools.  The TMS Technician Training Lead proactively identifies Regional Trainers in need of retraining and designs and delivers supplementary training programs. The TMS Technician Training Lead augments TMS training for providers in coordination with regional leaders.   Additionally, the TMS Technician Training Lead may also participate in direct patient care including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and EEG guided TMS/Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MeRT). 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Train TMS Regional Trainers on TMS/MeRT machines, procedures, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to prepare them to train TMS technicians.
  • Monitor the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the TMS Regional Trainers, including through the Monday.com board and the quality assurance audit process.  Regularly report findings to TMS COE, other organizational leaders and Regional Leaders.  Address deficiencies through retraining or other actions. 
  • In coordination with regional leaders, ensure that TMS Regional Trainers monitor the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of TMS technicians in their region and address deficiencies though retraining or other actions.  Leverages the Monday.com board and quality assurance audit processes and other tools.  Conducts site visits when needed.
  • Collects information regarding the efficacy and tolerability of FCC TMS treatment protocols and procedures and provides input to the TMS COE to refine.
  • When directed by the TMS CMO, augments TMS training for FCC providers.
  • When directed by the TMS CMO, as required by patient care needs, performs the duties of a TMS Regional Trainer or a TMS Technician.
  • Assist TMS Regional Trainers and Regional Administrators to ensure most updated program settings and the ordering of necessary equipment and supplies to maintain operational capability.
  • Communicate and assist Regional Medical Directors and Regional Directors on scheduling manufacturer TMS device training for their assigned trainees.

  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Travel:

  • Regional and outside region (approximately 30%) travel to deliver TMS training and address quality issues when required in any Family Care Center clinic. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years TMS Technician experience required. Five years experience in healthcare (as a MA, CNA, EMT, EEG Tech, etc.) preferred.
  • FCC TMS certification required. Training in Brainsway and MagVenture required.
  • Apollo and MeRT training certification required after 90 days of employment.
  • Continually required to sit, utilize hand, and finger dexterity, talk, and hear. Work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Frequently working at a desk in front of a computer. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
