    • Annual Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000, plus bonus potential.

Position Summary: The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for assisting in the administration of the company’s employee benefits programs with a strong emphasis on accuracy in billing reconciliation, leave administration, and employee support. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong analytical ability, and experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce strongly preferred). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to partner with both employees and external vendors to ensure seamless benefits delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the manager and director assist in administering health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other benefit programs, ensuring compliance with plan documents and regulations.
  • Perform monthly benefits billing and reconciliation: validate carrier invoices, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with carriers and payroll.
  • Develop process improvements and create advanced Excel models/Power BI to streamline reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Maintain benefits data in Dayforce, ensuring accuracy and timely updates for employee elections, life events, and terminations.
  • Provide consultative support to employees on benefit inquiries, plan provisions, and eligibility.
  • Lead leave of absence administration (FMLA, state programs, ADA accommodations, personal leaves), ensuring compliance and consistent communication with employees and leaders.
  • Prepare and analyze benefits reporting (enrollment trends, costs, participation, benchmarking).
  • Assist in annual Open Enrollment, vendor renewals, and compliance activities (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, nondiscrimination testing).
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and external vendors to resolve escalated issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of progressive benefits administration experience, including leave management required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced formulas; Power Query or Power BI a plus).
  • Dayforce (Ceridian) experience strongly preferred; other HRIS platforms acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).

Work Environment and Conditions:

  • Continually required to sit, utilize hand, and finger dexterity, talk, and hear.
  • Work environment is usually quiet to moderate.  
  • Frequently working at a desk in front of a computer. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
