- Annual Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000
Position Overview: The Director, HRIS provides strategic oversight and leadership for the organization’s HR technology systems and payroll operations. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and scalability of payroll processes and HRIS platforms in support of a rapidly growing, multi-state workforce. The Director partners with Finance and People Services leadership to optimize HR systems, strengthen data governance, and drive operational efficiencies that support organizational goals and enhance the employee experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manages and develops an effective staff: providing effective communication, leadership, guidance, and resources according to organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations. Determines staff qualifications and competency: recruits, interviews, selects, hires, trains, orients, mentors, evaluates, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and rewards. Establishes and monitors staff safety and regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic direction and governance for HRIS and payroll operations supporting a multi-state workforce in a rapidly growing organization.
- Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap, ensuring systems support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and an improved employee experience.
- Lead the integration, configuration, and continuous optimization of Dayforce and other HR systems, maximizing automation, functionality, and reporting capabilities.
- Establish enterprise standards for HR data governance, system configuration, and process design to ensure consistency, scalability, compliance, and data integrity.
- Partner with executive leadership, Finance, and operational teams to align HR technology capabilities, reporting, and analytics with broader business objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of HR and payroll data through system monitoring, audits, and data governance initiatives.
- Oversee system functionality across HRIS modules including payroll, time and attendance, compensation, benefits, recruiting, performance, and absence management, including troubleshooting complex system and integration issues.
- Develop reporting and analytics capabilities that provide leaders with actionable workforce insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead HR technology initiatives, system implementations, and cross-functional projects that enhance workforce operations and support organizational scale.
Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility:
- Supervises 1-3 accounting employees.
Other Duties:
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent practical experience required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in HRIS management, system implementation, configuration, and maintenance. Experience with Dayforce preferred.
- Advanced level of proficiency with Excel.
