    • Annual Compensation: $78,000 - $92,000 annually, depending on experience. Annual bonus opportunity of $16,000 - $17,000

Position Overview: The IOP State Lead, in addition to serving as the IOP Supervisor in a specific clinic, serves as the state subject matter expert in IOP and, by working closely with other state, regional and clinic leaders, ensures high-quality and IOP care is delivered across all clinics within the state. In partnership with national and local leaders, the IOP State Lead will facilitate training of IOP Technicians, Therapists, and Supervisors to maintain outstanding patient care practices and program quality.  The IOP State Lead provides input to clinic, regional and state leaders to improve operational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs the duties of the Clinic IOP Supervisor, including developing and overseeing an effective IOP Technician and Therapy staff: providing effective communication, leadership, guidance, and resources according to organizational policies and applicable laws and regulations. Determines staff qualifications and competency: recruits, interviews, selects, hires, trains, orients, mentors, evaluates, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and rewards. Establishes and monitors staff safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee IOP Patient Identification ensuring timely and accurate clinical assessment and track assignment.
  • Disseminates IOP program curricula in alignment with National IOP leadership.
  • Conduct regular QA reviews of documentation, session delivery, group processes, and adherence to curriculum.
  • Support National IOP Leadership with statewide QA findings, action plans, and improvement tracking.
  • Provide consultation to state leaders to ensure consistency with CARF standards. Maintain the Master IOP Schedule for the state, including program enrollment, frequency and cadence, planned PTO forecasting, coverage strategies, and backfill coordination.
  • Support operational efficiency and problem-solving across programs, escalating state-level trends and issues when needed.
  • Monitors IOP KPIs in conjunction with State Leadership, National IOP Leadership, and Vice President, Specialty Services and contributes to strategies for improvement.

Other Duties

  • Provides back-up coverage for IOP Intakes and Tracks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility:

 

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the mental health field, including at least 3 years in an IOP setting or at least 1 year as an FCC IOP Supervisor required. 
  • Experience using evidence-based treatments to treat multiple behavioral health disorders in adults and adolescents including anxiety, depression, and trauma required.
  • State licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT) or clinical psychologist (PhD or PsyD) required.
