the job

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the whole turn-key solution from understanding design brief, requesting quote, managing production to final execution (installation) related to retail fixture production. This person will work in a collaborative role with account managers, engineers, internal team members, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are purchased and executed in a way that ensures quality and competitive pricing, across a high volume of complex projects.

 

responsibilities

  • Monitor all aspects related to retail project from conceptual design to completion.
  • Manage all aspects related to production against agreed design & specification, working with vendors on timeline & cost and maintaining updated status of assigned projects.
  • Build relationships with clients and develop communication channels to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Liaison between internal stakeholders, agencies, manufacturing and construction partners to ensure quality, on-time delivery within budget across markets around the world
  • Gather job requirements and perform procurement and project management for projects
  • Manage the client’s jobs on-budget, on-time, and with the highest level of service and quality
  • Investigate potential supply chain and recommend the best based on manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, local operation specifics and schedule availability.
  • Collaborate with and give technical support to design & engineering team.
  • Co-ordinate with local delivery partners and store manager to ensure products deliver per requested schedule.
  • Develop program strategies which are both beneficial and economical for the client
  • Analyze job revenue, cost, and profitability by job or project, and create quarterly and yearly analysis and reports
  • Identify and present additional production and local solutions to clients and on site.

 

 

requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Advertising and marketing agency /Event Management / project management consultancy / Interior design companies.  Retail/F&B/Hospitality projects portfolio is highly preferred.
  • Degree / Diploma Holder in interior design/ Building Services / Architect / Project Management / Marketing
  • Proven record of successful project execution experience in a manufacturing, client, or agency environment
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience negotiating job costs and schedules with suppliers and vendors
  • Experience in handling projects from beginning to completion.
  • Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy, tight schedule environments
  • Self-starter with good initiatives
  • Creative, detail-minded and self-motivated.
  • Experience in handling projects from beginning to completion.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, sketch up, InDesign & MS Office Applications.
  • International experience a plus
  • Native in English, Chinese. Cantonese is optional. Other Asian Language is a plus.
  • Regional travel is required.
