Associate Technical Support Engineer - Lab Technician

  • Rack, Build, cable, configure, and provision lab requests
  • Setup, configuration, support, and troubleshooting of GTAC lab network devices, servers and traffic generation equipment
  • Maintaining lab equipment inventory; licensing and supplies
  • Providing recommendations on equipment purchases 

 Skills Required

  • Experience managing, design, implementation, operations and maintenance within a Data Center\Lab
  • Experience with IP Networking protocols, Windows Servers, Linux distribution and administration
  • Physical or Virtual lab design and support with emphasis on a cloud infrastructure in future
  • Vendor Infrastructure or Eco system Experience: VMWARE, Microsoft Azure and Nutanix a plus
  • Virtual infrastructure Experience: Docker, Kubernetes, MS Hyper-V, Open stack a plus
  • Experience with installing and maintaining various network infrastructure components like Active Directory servers, DNS, DHCP, AAA Services, Setup PXE booting and Server cloning
  • Problem solver, Highly motivated, Works independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong network/server troubleshooting experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication and listening skills.
