Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific near- to mid-term deliverables for the position will include:

  • Identify and deliver closed won Education business as per individual and team targets
  • Protect, retain, cultivate and manage a large existing customer base to ensure retention and revenue growth across the Education sector
  • Build business plans based on growth of existing Account base & Channel capabilities
  • Supports partner’s sales planning and sales activity
  • Support customers with day to day queries and escalation
  • Support Partners and Distribution with day to day queries and escalation
  • Understand and communicate Extreme service model to ensure clean after sales process and customer/partner satisfaction on long term basis
  • Competency and understanding for the education sector in terms of buying persona’s, investment cycles and drivers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • The ability to articulate the commercial and technical value of an Enterprise grade network portfolio and develop customer facing Business cases
  • The ability to prove short term ROI and TCO as well as winning and maintaining longer term accounts
  • 5-10 years of transferable sales/IT experience in the network infrastructure arena
  • The ability to speak intelligently about Cloud SaaS, Data Networking, SDN LAN & WAN, Virtualization, Security, Orchestration, Server/Storage, application visibility, control & experience over a distributed hybrid workplace; the ability to learn, breakdown and re-articulate these concepts to our customer base
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently at volume across multiple Accounts
  • The ability to produce high quality results working independently (high level of self-motivation needed) in a region with limited local support infrastructure
  • A confident, positive individual with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm and a willingness to ‘think purple’. A candidate that will believe in our long term vision for the sector and evangelise
  • The ability to learn and articulate complex technical differentiators and align those features to a customers’ day to day and long term requirements.
  • The ability to focus on meeting sales quota’s and achieve desired pipeline development goals across UK&I
