The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for building the next generation of Extreme’s digital footprint and ensuring a frictionless online customer experience.  The trailhead of this new journey has already begun, and your responsibilities will include the exciting transformation towards a new digital platform in the coming quarters.  As the Digital Marketing leader, you'll be responsible for building our "in-house digital center of excellence" and scaling the team to meet the growing demands or our global business.   This role reports into the VP of Growth Marketing and is pivotal to implement our charter of creating a repeatable and scalable growth marketing engine that provides sustainable top of funnel pipeline to support a global sales organization.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define and own the next generation of Extreme’s digital platform as we transition from WordPress to Sitecore.
  • Own and drive the go forward platform requirements, personalization, and day-to-day operations for our global business (supporting multiple languages).
  • Own and manage the technical integrations and associated marketing technology stack alongside Sitecore, Content Hub, Marketo, and SFDC today.
  • Working in conjunction with content, take ownership and execute an SEO strategy to improve our organic traffic / sessions and drive higher quality inbound leads.
  • Drive testing and optimization strategies to maximize on page conversion rates
  • Work closely across various marketing teams as well as sales, product, support, and training to accomplish their digital needs.
  • Manage, develop, and scale a team of digital marketing professionals, both in house and outsourced.
  • Drive the process to consolidate the different MarTech tools/platforms working closely with other leads to remove redundancies in the stack.
  • Be an advocate for and an expert in Agile development and lean process within a large organization undergoing a digital transformation.

 

Skills: Candidate must have

  • 8+ years leading the digital strategy for a global B2B technology company
  • Proven leadership with a passion to build and develop a team of young business professionals
  • Previously experience guiding a company through a digital platform transformation
  • Working knowledge of Sitecore, Marketo, and Salesforce
  • Campaign management and optimization skills, take an analytics-oriented approach to business decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with web designers, front and back-end developers, and key sales stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make data backed business decisions
  • SaaS technology experience strongly preferred
  • A deep understanding of how to drive business value through an understanding of market problems and a knowledge of digital technology-based solutions
