What you will do:
As a Technical Business Analyst you will help align information technology systems, projects, and business operations to the roadmap. You will work with a blend of Product, Technology, and Business resources, on various projects all focused on delivering value. You will interact with various business units, and all levels of the organization where you will apply your unique blend of skills to drive assigned projects to successful completion. Your goals will include improving the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions and finding technological solutions to business needs.

 

In this role you will be working on processes which directly impact internal and external user’s day-to-day productivity. You must be able to balance the desire system “elegance” against the needs for rapid delivery. 



How you will make an impact:
  • Write user stories that clearly communicate the business requirements to developers and establish acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
  • Work with the Product Manager to understand the product roadmap and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Work with the Product Manager to complete product review of developed functionality.
  • Work with Solution Architects to analyze data schemas and APIs and document data flow across systems and processes as technical requirements.
  • Work with the development team and Project Manager to execute and achieve sprint goals.
  • Documenting and diagraming  business processes and infrastructure workflow.
  • Acting as an information source and communicator between business and development teams.
  • Promoting system efficiency and security by integrating performance metrics and encryption.
  • Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
  • Drive product demonstrations and seek feedback from user groups.
  • Perform designated job tasks efficiently and within the provided time frame.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members and supervisors through email, instant messaging, video conferences, or other designated communication channels.
  • Attend virtual meetings, provide updates on progress, and actively participate in discussions.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, including data security and confidentiality.
  • Complete assigned projects, assignments, or tasks with attention to detail and quality.
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities or self-directed learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on shared documents or projects using remote collaboration tools.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and demonstrate initiative in identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Ensure availability and responsiveness during agreed-upon working hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.
How you will grab our attention:
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6 years of experience and a Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience demonstrating success in a complex business and technical environment.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with web applications and mobile applications is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL (querying and not coding)  and API testing tools such as postman is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with business and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organizational and process management skills.
  • Able to set and manage priorities and quickly come up to speed in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency with wireframing, workflow and other product design tools.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Google Apps.
  • Possess an Agile / Flexible mindset
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Excellent customer service abilities: written and verbal communication must be superb
  • Team player - able to complete individual tasks as well as work on a team to accomplish a goal
  • Conflict resolution and active listening: ability to assess a customers need or concerns and deliver solutions using critical and creative thinking
  • Proficient with Google Workspace; Microsoft Office experience is a bonus
  • Remote Work experience required with dedicated home-office/work space 
  • Advanced Trello experience preferred
  • Experience in the real estate industry strongly preferred
  • Aptitude for using online platforms and softwares to work remotely
