What you will do:
The Finance Manager is a hands-on individual contributor role that will develop a deep understanding of the North America Realty business segment and uncover insights that drive the business. They will work independently to develop rigorous financial plans as well as analyze and report results in a deadline focused environment. They will provide business finance partnership and expertise to leaders in their respective areas and create financial models to assess business impacts and financial ROI of projects and new lines of business. The position requires a high degree of initiative, collaboration, professional curiosity, problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and superior communication skills.
- Act as lead finance partner to North America Realty business segments. Partner with executives to drive the business.
- Develop rigorous financial planning and guidance, measure results against forecasts and develop insights on variances that lead to business actions and forecasting improvement.
- Develop industry and competitor financial insights and communicate to finance and business leadership.
- Develop financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and financial reporting, including decision models and pro-forma financial statements.
- Develop and streamline FP&A processes that leverage use of financial tools such as Oracle, Tableau, Excel, and proprietary systems.
- Develop and improve processes in FP&A and cross-functionally leading to better collaboration, efficiency, accuracy, and clear communication of information.
- Other duties as assigned.
How you will grab our attention:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A or similar analytical role.
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Possess strong attention to detail, good business acumen and excellent analytical skills.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Collaborative, knows when to challenge and comfortable with conflict.
- Anticipates next challenge, need, etc. and stays on top of the work.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
