What you will do:
As a Technical Lead within our Business Intelligence team, you will be an integral asset to eXp Realty and our Data Services team, serving as a key contributor to our digital information ecosystem. You will work with a blend of Product, Technology, and Business resources, on various projects all focused on delivering value.
- You will be responsible for analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization.
- Utilizing advanced statistical and analytical techniques, you will uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to support various business objectives.
- You will interact with various business units, at all levels of the organization where you will apply your unique blend of skills to drive assigned projects to successful completion.
- Your expertise in Tableau, data visualization, and data storytelling will be essential.

How you will grab our attention:
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Five + years of SQL; the ability to write complex and highly optimized queries across large data sets
- Advanced BI/Tableau user with strong ‘best practices’ and ‘standard operating procedures’ when creating data sources, workbooks, and deployment of finished product to end user
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau features such as calculated fields, table calculations, parameters, and dashboard actions. Experience with connecting to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud-based data sources).
- Five + years of industry experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role
- Proficient in Git Workflow
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports. Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles.
- Exceptional collaboration skills with internal and external teams
- Success working in a deadline driven environment, under high demand
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven success in problem solving and overcoming complexities in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts on Tableau best practices and techniques
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards and reports
- Conduct regular reviews of Tableau workbooks to ensure accuracy, relevance, and efficiency
- Familiarity with AI and ability to utilize AI and machine learning techniques to analyze large and complex datasets for pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve efficiency and overall effectiveness of the delivery to the business user
