Security Applications Team is the fast-growing team at Exabeam and this team is redefining Exabeam's next-generation Security Applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will partner with the Security Applications Director in leading technical direction, architecture and usage of Native Google Cloud technologies such as Big Query, Big Table, Data Flow, and Looker. This role is a hands-on role guiding and contributing to analyzing requirements, proposing required technologies, design and implementing next-generation cloud-native TDIR (Threat Detection Investigation and Response) applications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building highly reliable, efficient, scalable, and responsive software, preferably with a bend towards data and analytics. Responsibilities:
  • Produce clean, elegant, maintainable, robust and well-tested codeWork with Data Scientists, Security Experts, and the Platform team to develop TDIR applications for new cyber security threats. 
  • Architect and develop the back-end services for the next generation Security Applications for Exabeam Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Success, Quality Engineering, Systems Integration and Performance testing teams present and Communicate (written and oral) architectural details within the team and across the company
  • Expected to work across cross-functional teams, partner with other architects and other technical leads, and mentor junior developers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. 
  • 8-12 years of software engineering experience.
  • 5 plus years of experience developing Applications using native cloud technologies from Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. 
  • Strong experience in Java, Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Google Guice or Spring. 
  • Experience building complex systems with high performance, scalability and reliability requirements experience with distributed data processing system
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, Mongo, Spark, Pig or other MapReduce paradigms. 
  • Experience with GCP technologies such as GCS, Google Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Dataflow and  Cloud Run.
