We are seeking a talented and professional Consultant (Project Manager Skillset) to join our team.   

    

Responsibilities:   

    

  • Successfully manage delivery of end-to-end projects and manage client expectations.
  • Understand the client’s strategic direction and apply it to the project team specific outcomes.
  • Create and manage roadmaps, project plan, day to day monitoring of tasks and activities and initiate corrective action where necessary to keep project on track.
  • Create and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and communicate program results.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting and escalate any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in other business units to drive business objectives.
  • Work on analyzing a variety of cross-functional initiatives, including long-range planning efforts and develop procedures and other management and implementation duties.
  • Continually assess action items, risks, and issues maintaining risk and issue logs and contingency plans.
  • Manage project(s) financial including development of financial plans.
  • Responsible for identifying, clarifying, and communicating the vision(s) and/or objective(s) of projects and show how they fall in place with, enhance, or inhibits such vision(s) and/or objective(s).
  • Provide process improvement recommendations that are based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support of delivery teams.
  • Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions and collaboration).
  • Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
  • Contribute to evolv’s culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
  • Help grow evolv by providing team member/client referrals and connecting with our internal network.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    

Requirements:   

    

  • Bachelor’s degree and PM/Agile/Scrum cert strongly preferred.
  • Previous consulting experience leading projects strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager with large system implementation, process engineering and vendor management.
  • Strong Agile Project Management skills and familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Understanding of Cloud based technologies and processes (AWS preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Growth mindset, always looking to improve self, work of the team.
  • Influencing skills that drive alignment in a non-hierarchical environment.
  • Problem-solving and communications skills (written and verbal) that reflect structured, clear, and objective thinking.
  • Record of managing complex work, involving various work streams, with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to establish trust-based and thought-partner relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Results and impact-driven, with strong attention to detail and ability to put things into perspective.
  • Ability to empathize with users and stakeholders, and balance tradeoffs of trends, needs, and pain points.
