We are seeking a talented and professional Analyst – Entry Level (Solutions Engineering) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Define and analyze business and/or scientific problems of most complex type or assists user personnel in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.
- Design computer systems to accomplish solution of each problem, integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.
- Reanalyze computer programming problems from original design and makes modifications as necessary.
- Select or modify existing computer programs or applicable program systems and structures data formats for solution of problems.
- Implement or lead implementation of systems or job streams.
- Assist in estimating required project resources.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to other computer professionals for solution of work problems.
- Display evolv’s core values in the way you act, speak, and work.
- Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions and collaboration).
- Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background in Engineering or Mathematics, etc.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira Data Center and cloud instances, and other Atlassian products including Confluence, Access, Trello, and various plugins.
- Be a change agent to drive transformation of how we manage work.
- Drive innovation on how work is performed using Jira.
- Create custom Jira projects, complex workflows, and permission schemas.
- Create training material and standard operating procedure documentation.
- Identify, test and recommend new plugins to meet project requirements.
- Define access permission schemas for internal and external Dropbox users.
- Align Jira with PMO processes and standards (Waterfall, Agile and Kanban).
- Troubleshoot application issues and add-on integration issues in Jira and Confluence working with Atlassian support.
- Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize/improve Jira setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
- Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in Jira to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
- Using Jira REST APIs, develop one-off solutions for integrations with other tools, automate manual processes, data migration routines and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Provide User Management and support for users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance, and maintain best practices.
- Create and manage security schemes, custom fields, and configurations.
- Install, manage, and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions.
- Develop process workflow for Jira Agile, field configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes in Jira.
- Management of other reporting and collaboration in the environment.
- Aiding in the management and support of integrations between tools in development landscape, including Jira, Confluence, Access, ServiceNow, Okta, etc.
- Experience administering Jira / Confluence environments with a mixture of on-premises and cloud & migration on-premises to cloud and vice versa.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and project management methodologies.
- Experience with Jira version upgrades.
- Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language).
