We are seeking a talented and professional Consultant (Appian Developer Skillset) to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using Appian BPM platform. 
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. 
  • Develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions tailored to insurance industry needs. 
  • Perform system integrations with external systems and APIs. 
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including design specs and user guides. 
  • Support testing efforts including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Appian applications. 
  • Adhere to best practices for Appian development, coding standards, and deployment processes. 
  • Travel bi-weekly to client site for meetings, workshops, and onsite development work.
  • Display evolv’s core values in the way you act, speak, and work.
  • Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions and collaboration).
  • Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
  • Contribute to evolv’s culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
  • Help grow evolv by providing team member/client referrals and connecting with our internal network.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Appian application development. 
  • Strong understanding of Appian components such as SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites, and Web APIs. 
  • Experience integrating Appian with external systems (e.g., REST, SOAP services). 
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL. 
  • Good understanding of BPM and workflow concepts. 
  • Snowflake experience is a big plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher certification. 
  • Previous experience in the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy management). 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus. 
  • Must be willing to travel to client site every two weeks (travel expenses reimbursed). 
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to build relationships. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs. 
  • Ability to travel to Missouri every week to be onsite with the Client (fly in Sunday night and fly home Friday afternoon).
