We are seeking an FP&A Manager to assist in delivering company-wide financial planning, forecasting, variance reporting, business analysis, and business intelligence services. This role focuses on the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans for Evolus. You will partner with the VP, FP&A to manage budget and forecast processes, inquiries, and performance tracking, and understand the business complexities. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Involved in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights to support business strategy and operational improvements.
- This position is responsible for the overall support of the Global Finance team
- Support includes financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, invoice/PO tracking, headcount modeling, and special projects as needed
- Monthly/Quarterly close activities
- Identify trends and understand variances between forecast and actual results and take corrective action where needed
- Partner with the Accounting team and other cross-functional teams to understand the accounting implications of commercial business plans
- Involved in the short- and long-term financial planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely projections for senior leadership
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience including FP&A, forecasting, and budgeting
- Ability to perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) is crucial.
- Strong skills in forecasting future financial performance based on historical data and market trends. Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets across multiple departments or business units.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, scenario analysis, and long-term planning. This includes sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources to derive actionable insights.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and features (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions, macros, data validation). Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and scenario analysis within Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and analyze complex business problems from a financial perspective. Proven track record of providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive business performance and growth.
- This new role is ideal for a highly independent and experienced professional who can navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience using NetSuite is preferable
- Highly motivated to grow with the Company and ability to adapt to change
- Able to think critically and bring up issues to management

Compensation & Total Rewards
The expected pay range for this position is $111,760 to $139,700. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more.
