International HR Generalist

Evolus (NASDAQ: EOLS) is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our International HR Team, reporting to the Executive Director, International HR.
This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. As a key partner to the Executive Director of International HR and the broader International team, the HR Generalist will play a central role in delivering efficient, compliant and people‑first HR processes. You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and people leaders across the business, helping to shape an engaging and supportive workplace experience.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Executive Director of HR and gain hands‑on exposure across core HR Business Partner areas—including Compensation & Benefits/Payroll, Performance Management, Culture, and Employee Engagement. Essential duties and responsibilities where you'll make the biggest impact…
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Partner closely with the Global Talent Acquisition team to support all stages of the recruitment lifecycle for the International Division, from proactive sourcing and candidate engagement through to interviews and timely hiring decisions.
- Provide comprehensive onboarding support for new hires, including employment contract preparation, legal registrations, IT provisioning, and system access, ensuring a smooth and welcoming employee experience from day one.
- Employee Relations & Support:
- Act as a first point of contact for employees, supporting day to day HR and administrative queries while promoting employee wellbeing and positive employee experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure employee relations matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in compliance with local employment legislation.
- HR Administration & Systems:
- Deliver effective end-to-end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, from hire to exit, ensuring all employee documentation is accurate, complete, and securely maintained.
- Support the ongoing implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance.
- Lead or support HR systems training and upskilling initiatives for employees and managers.
- Office Location – Milan, Italy (hybrid onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
- Some travel may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills You’ll Bring to the Team…
- 5 years of experience in an HR role, in a generalist and recruitment capacity, within a multicultural or international environment
- Hands on experience across core HR areas including recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, and organizational development
- Strong working knowledge of European and/or international employment legislation
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with employees at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications…
- Human Resources certification
- University degree and/or Master’s degree
- Strong IT literacy, including HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
