Evolus is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products.We are seeking an experienced and driven Director, HCP Engagement to join our Marketing Team. As an innovative member of the commercial team and a resourceful thinker, you will proactively develop initiatives focused on increasing HCP awareness and engagement with Evolus’ expanding portfolio of products.
The successful candidate will have experience leading a team, working in a multi-faceted high-paced matrix environment, strong communication and collaborations skills, taking ideas from inception to completion, ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure, is a self-starter and able to accomplish objectives and tasks on time and within budget.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Manages a cross-functional team, focused on specialized HCP events and initiatives
  • Accountable for high-profile customer programs, developing strategy, business rules, and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals
  • Designs corporate HQ customer / new prospect meeting strategy and partners with sales on post meeting follow up plan and effectiveness analysis
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with established and emerging “Key Opinion Leaders” in the aesthetics industry, driving increased opportunities to introduce Evolus and its portfolio of offerings
  • Leads yearly KOL analysis project and develops communication and engagement plan based on project outcome
  • Responsible for developing and executing society meeting strategy, sponsorship support and booth presence.
  • Supervises management of exhibit vendor, exhibit transportation, installation, dismantle, booth staffing, and on-site coordination
  • Develops exhibit booth activation plans to drive traffic and product engagement with conference attendees
    • Builds strong relationships with society personnel/board members
  • Identifies conference podium speakers and provides appropriate Evolus product related information
  • Facilitates networking opportunities with current customers and prospects at key external meetings and conferences.
  • Responsible for partnering with the sales team and organizing purpose driven 1:1 KOL/customer meetings with executive leadership team members
  • Implements analytics reporting of HCP engagement initiatives
  • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and builds strong relationships with marketing, sales, medical affairs, legal, regulatory, compliance and agency partners
  • Attends conferences and conduct field travel to ensure frequent touch points with aesthetic providers
  • Maintains industry awareness regarding market trends, competition, product acceptance and new product launches and indications
  • Effectively manages multiple budgets  
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experienced people leader
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing or sales (aesthetic industry is preferred).
  • Strong project management, communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of executive management
  • Ability to effectively engage with customers in a professional and compliant manner
  • Self-starter, able to collaborate with others to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency, with minimal supervision
  • Receptivity to feedback – welcomes and acts on feedback and displays humility
  • Navigates ambiguity – positively and proactively reacts to and manages ambiguous or unclear situations
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50%. Evenings, overnight, weekends as required

Compensation & Total Rewards
The expected pay for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 annual salary + annual incentive compensation.  Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on several considerations including but not limited to role-relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications and more.
