Technical Product Manager - Italy
Description
Evolus (Nasdaq: EOLS) is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. Evolus International is the fastest-growing business unit. Today we operate in more than 7 countries, and over the next five years we plan to expand into more than 13 countries. That growth only works if we build a Digital ecosystem that can flex across markets, brands, customers, business models, and regulations.
Our International Digital ecosystem covers marketing sites, brand sites, B2B ecommerce channels, internal sales tools, CRM, and the digital capabilities that support marketing, sales, customer support, and operations across every country we serve.
We are seeking an experienced, driven Technical Product Manager to join our Digital Engineering Team, reporting to the Executive Director, Digital and Engineering. You will be embedded in the international business and act as the bridge between our business teams and Digital Engineering. You will take real business problems, turn them into clear product and technical requirements, and drive them through to delivery with designers, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders across the business. This is not a project coordinator role, and it is not a traditional business analyst role. You will own real product decisions, carry real accountability for execution, and be expected to shape how our international ecommerce experience grows. One day you might be presenting a roadmap to senior leadership. The next you might be writing detailed user stories with an engineer. Both are part of the job.
If you join our team, you will be working on some of the most exciting opportunities and challenges we face, with a team that values growth, recognition, and camaraderie. If you are looking for an opportunity to exhibit your knowledge and technical abilities in a unique environment, then look no further! In this role, you will be challenged to drive the success of Evolus in an effort to build a brand like no other
Essential duties and responsibilities where you'll make the biggest impact…
- Run structured discovery with Country General Managers, sales teams, marketing, operations, and customer support to understand what is and is not working
- Map the current e-commerce customer journey and pinpoint what is holding back adoption
- Turn business problems into clear requirements: user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation
- Own and maintain the product backlog and the International Digital roadmap
- Build program plans that cover milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and release sequencing
- Work with designers and engineers from early discovery through launch
- Keep stakeholders informed on plans, risks, decisions, and timeline changes, in plain language
- Coordinate release readiness across business and technical teams
- Support adoption of new and existing ecommerce capabilities, and build dashboards that track it, without inventing numbers we have not agreed on
- Build a repeatable country launch playbook so each new market gets faster and smoother than the last
- Work with legal, privacy, security, tax, and regulatory experts to make sure we get country launches right
- Partner with vendors while keeping our product priorities and business needs front and center
- Spot process gaps and recommend solutions that scale beyond just one country
- Balance what a single country needs right now against what the broader international ecosystem needs in the long term
- Push back constructively when requirements, priorities, or timelines are not clear enough to act on
- This role is based in Milan International Headquarters and follows a hybrid model, with mandatory Tuesdays to Thursdays in the office. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Italy at the time of application.
- You will work closely with teams in the United States and India. Most India collaboration will fit within normal Milan working hours. Some conversations with our Pacific Time teams in the US will land later in the Milan evening. Expect occasional travel within Europe and to the United States.
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Own
- Requirements and the product backlog
- Program plans, dependencies, and timelines
- Business process design
- Release readiness
- Adoption and business results
You will co-own the International Digital product roadmap together with the Digital/Engineering leader and the International Marketing leader. You will also influence product strategy, budget planning, and vendor management, working closely with the people who own those decisions.
Day-to-day, you will make calls on backlog priorities, scope tradeoffs, vendor coordination, release sequencing, business process recommendations, and how we manage expectations with stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
Success here is not just shipping projects on time. It shows up as:
- Strong, trusted partnerships with international business teams and with designers and engineers
- Real improvement in ecommerce adoption and customer experience
- Requirements that are clear enough to act on without back-and-forth
- Predictable delivery and communication people can rely on
- New country ecommerce sites and channels that launch well
- A roadmap and launch model that scale as we grow from four countries to ten and beyond
- Priorities, dependencies, risks, and expectations that are actively managed, not just tracked
Qualifications and Skills You’ll Bring to the Team…
- At least 10 years in product management, business analysis, or ecommerce
- Experience operating in a multi-country or multi-market environment where local needs must be balanced with global standards.
- Strong track record as an Ecommerce Product Manager or similar role
- Meaningful experience with B2B ecommerce
- Experience with payment processing, tax considerations, fulfillment, and order management
- A history of working with designers, engineers, business leaders, and vendors
- The ability to turn messy, complex business needs into requirements engineers can build from
- Experience managing backlogs, program plans, dependencies, and release readiness
- Experience working with globally distributed teams, including across European markets
- Strong written and spoken English
- Enough technical understanding to work well with engineers and make informed product calls, even though you do not need to be an engineer or architect yourself. This includes product-level knowledge of analytics, payment and order processing, privacy and regulatory requirements, digital platform dependencies, ecommerce operations, and CRM-enabled processes
Preferred Qualifications…
- Experience launching ecommerce capabilities in multiple countries
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with platforms such as BigCommerce, Salesforce CRM, NetSuite, Stripe, PayPal, Contentstack, Webflow, Google Analytics, or Segment. You do not need experience with all of them
- A bachelor's degree, though we will take equivalent hands-on experience just as seriously.
