Position Summary:

As a Manager, Fleet Solutions, you will join our Fleet Solutions team, which is a fast paced, results-oriented, hands-on group focusing on delivering end-to-end business and technical solutions across the value chain to EVgo’s fleet customers and partners.

Reporting to our Senior Direct, Fleet Solutions, the successful candidate will first and foremost be responsible for performing a wide-range of analytics-related activities including developing, owning, and maintaining models and tools related to the total cost of ownership, fleet assessments, energy management, and project planning; using analytics to inform EVgo’s fleet solution design from business development to technical project planning for our fleet customers and partners. This role is highly cross-functional and requires working closely with business development, hardware, software, data science, and other internal teams. It will require you to take a systems approach, bringing products, services, and support together, to construct a powerful and valuable solution offering for EVgo’s customers. You must have the ability to think strategically, be able to dive into appropriate technical depth when required, and articulate high-level summaries to senior management with the right level of detail. Excellent written and oral presentation skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytics-related efforts within EVgo fleet solutions
  • Develop innovative solution offerings across the value chain (hardware, software, O&M, etc.) that will deliver value to multiple customer segments
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with other EVgo teams on new fleet product offerings, business development efforts, and overall fleet solution design
  • Understand customer strategic priorities, perform assessments of client’s existing infrastructure and operations and business needs with EVgo’s fleet solution offerings
  • End-to-end support of fleet customer and partner engagements with a focus on delivering business and technical value
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, partner ecosystem, and EVgo’s product differentiation needed to provide turnkey solutions to customers

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BS/MS in engineering/science, operations research, or energy systems. MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience and understanding of the fleet/mobility/cleantech industries and market trends preferred.
  • Experience in software and hardware product management and product development processes.
  • Expert user of MS Excel demonstrated proficiency working with databases, word processing, and slide presentation software
  • Modeling and analysis experience with programming languages such as R and Python is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simply convey complex concepts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high degree of self-confidence and ability to self-learn
  • Fluency in financial modeling concepts
  • Inherent strong planning, analytical, interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to engage face-to-face with customers (post-COVID)
