Position Summary: 
As our training team experiences significant growth, we are actively seeking a dynamic Training Coordinator to take the lead in coordinating and scheduling our expanding range of onboarding, training, and development programs. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the success of our team by ensuring seamless coordination of training sessions and classes partnering with stakeholders and HR on a regular basis. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient onboarding of new hires, ongoing skill development, and the overall enhancement of our workforce. Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for the administrative tasks of coordinating schedules and meetings related to the training team and organization as it relates to onboarding and continued education
  • Content building for in-house LMS, EVgo Academy
  • Participates and enhances training initiatives
  • Takes an active role in training of new hires and continued education efforts
  • Communicates with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals
  • Our ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and e-learnings (LMS)
  • Market available training offerings to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  • Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
  • Design, prepare and maintain training aids and materials
  • Partner with Director of Training and Training manager on organization-wide training needs and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Research and recommend new training methods 
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role 
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate, remote setting 
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation 
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools 
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) 
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques 
  • Experience with e-learning platforms 
  • Ability to create and implement training content and materials 
  • MS Office proficiency 
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • High School diploma or equivalent  
For job positions in CA, CO and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $75,000.00 USD to $85,000.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
