Position Summary:      
     
The Site Development Coordinator will support the EVgo Site Development team in securing the site host agreements integral to the company's growth and expansion plans. The successful applicant will be EVgo's front-line brand ambassador, supporting our mission to cover the nation with a vast, accessible, and environmentally and economically sustainable EV fast charging network.
This high-growth position will be tasked with the identification and development of new site host partner prospects through lead generation and management, event support, and close coordination with the broader market development team at EVgo. Additional supporting duties to the Site Development team will be supporting events and marketing activities, conducting desktop research, monitoring project plans, improving internal processes, and managing program deliverables in assigned territories.   Ideal candidates should be excellent communicators and able to work through complex technical, regulatory, and various related issues to identify leads, and assess properties, utility, and market-specific needs. The successful candidate will be goal-motivated, adaptable in a start-up environment, strategic thinker, and self-starter. 
 
Responsibilities:      
  • Partner with the Site Development team to identify opportunities within existing partnerships for expansion and further development. 
  • Provide administrative support to Portfolio Managers, collecting and uploading documents, updating shared reports, and liaising between internal EVgo teams. 
  • Assist in the scheduling and execution of internal department, cross functional, and external personnel meetings. 
  • Maintain accurate meeting notes and minutes for internal department, cross functional, and external personnel meetings. 
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to identify strategic points of emphasis and needs within assigned territories. 
  • Identify the best-in-class properties that align with strategic emphasis and program needs. 
  • Respond to and research inbound site host prospects. 
  • Respond to inbound Site Support requests from current Site Hosts. Involve appropriate internal teams and maintain communication with Site Hosts to see requests through to resolution. 
  • As needed, support marketing efforts ranging from campaign support to staging and staffing various events including conferences, conventions, and ribbon-cutting events. 
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting/data entry on market development into appropriate systems. 
  • Adapt to a changing business model and learn to contribute across the organization. 
  • Travel may be required if feasible.

For job positions in CA, CO and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $65,000 USD to $75,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
