Position Summary:
We’re looking for a proactive, skilled Partner Manager to manage EVgo’s largest national partners. Partner Management will play a critical role in expanding EVgo's charging network and enhancing our customer experience through strategic portfolio partnerships. This is a high-impact, position requiring a blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, contract compliance, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing and managing a complex sophisticated partner ecosystem that could include national portfolios, OEMs, Fleets, and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and operationalize relationships with EVgo’s largest strategic partners, including automotive OEMs, fleet operators, retail property owners, utilities, and government agencies.
- Create a regular, cadenced rhythm of the business, resulting in the orchestration of all functional segments of the business to execute against contractual commitments and revenue goals.
- Develops executive-level relationships within partners complex organization and strategic functions to meet EVgo and partner's strategic goals.
- Manage partner’s long term contract compliance Identifying opportunities for collaboration, ensuring alignment with EVgo’s business objectives and long-term growth strategy.
- Develop and continuously improve cross-functional processes, system-driven action, and the controlled environment for predictable project delivery.
- Lead the development of data-driven solutions to improve internal/external transparency to results and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and report on partner satisfaction metrics, providing recommendations for improvement
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Ensure renewal strategies, relationship development and client management is efficient and optimal
- Manage the account management budget and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Work closely with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall partner experience and drive growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of AR/AP and partnership agreements.
- Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Mentor and lead members of staff to build an operating environment grounded in mission focused, continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Partner management, Project management, customer success, or related fields in a startup environment

- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large sets of customer data
- Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with CRM software, account management tools, and other customer-related technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Data-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for sustainability and EV technology is a plus!
For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $137,000.00 USD to $156,000.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
