The Opportunity

Everyday Health Group is looking for a Senior Designer with a focus on Motion Graphics (Senior Motion Designer) to join the Everyday Health Creative Services Team, who supports design needs for multiple brands under the Everyday Health Consumer business unit. They will collaborate with the Creative Services Team supporting the Well Content Studio, Integrated Marketing, Editorial and Audience Development teams, and will have the opportunity to work on creative projects for Marketing support for our other Consumer brands such as Lose It!, Castle Connolly Top Doctors, Migraine Again, DailyOM, Diabetes Daily and more. The Creative Team works on a variety of different projects, from digital experiences to dynamic presentations, from B2B events to print projects – this is position for a motivated creative who enjoys fun and fulfilling challenges and is looking to learn and collaborate with team members every day. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To use your motion graphics experience to complement the work of the Creative Services team and help bring promotional and on-site projects to life
  • Work with other teams across the company to help bring programs to life with motion, collaborating with the Creative Team, adhering to our brand guidelines
  • Work with the creative team to support Integrated Marketing team by doing mockups of advertising programs
  • Work with the Well Content studio to design on-site programs and interactive elements to enhance these programs
  • Opportunities to work on many other kinds of projects such as digital advertising and B2B events
  • This position will report to the Associate Creative Director

Job Qualifications:

  • BFA degree or similar
  • 2+ years of multi-faceted design experience at an agency, publisher or design studio
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects)
  • Strong knowledge of Sketch and Figma
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (presentation design)
  • Knowledge of Ceros a plus
  • Video editing a plus
  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Dependable with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
