Customer Success Specialist

Castle Connolly, a subsidiary of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a high-performing and driven individual to join our Account Management/Sales team to support our physician and magazine sales.  The Customer Success Specialist (CSS) will be a key member and report to the Director of Inside Sales. 


This position will be essential for providing outstanding customer service, help maximize revenue and exceed team targets.  The CSS will be responsible for cross selling and upselling integrated packages to doctors, marketing professionals and practice managers who are part of the Castle Connolly Top Doctor database.  In addition, the CSS will manage the day-to-day publisher relationships and execution of a unique, best-in-class data licensing partnership that drives revenue, lead generation, and brand awareness.


The CSS will collaborate with the marketing & publishing teams, inside sales representatives, and sales leadership to deliver support that optimizes the overall team’s performance.  The ideal candidate will have previously worked with physicians, be well organized, self-motivated, a team player, possess extreme attention to detail and business acumen.  Also, they will have the ability to work in a fast paced, everchanging and multitasking environment. 



  • Assist in managing active existing physician and magazine accounts on a day-to-day basis
  • Secure account renewals for existing business
  • Utilize CRM tools for record keeping and account information sharing
  • Collaborate with other departments including research, marketing, editorial, social and ad operations
  • Ensure data quality through close collaboration with our publishing partners to produce high-quality print publication
  • Oversee partner operations including invoicing, renewal agreements, and other duties as assigned
  • Manage Castle Connolly brand marketing opportunities with our publisher partners by proactively managing the creative process, ensuring optimal ad placement, and ultimately driving business outcomes through your coordination
  • Partner with day-today publisher partners to ensure successful execution of data licensing
  • Other core expectations as defined by your direct manager

  • 1-3 years of sales account management experience, ideally with previous exposure to the healthcare industry and/or healthcare providers
  • Ability to organize and maintain multiple tasks & accounts at once
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Preferred experience with sales teams, sales partners, or b2b customers
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience with Salesforce is a must
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel & email marketing platforms are a plus
