Wage Range: $101,000-$116,000
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:
The clinician specializes in assessment and treatment of individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems during the perinatal period. Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, client advocacy, prevention, and education.
Primary Duties:
- Conducts comprehensive initial evaluation to determine appropriate type and level of service needed.
- Provides individual counseling/therapy to patients in the perinatal period with mild, moderate, or severe mental health symptoms.
- Assesses perinatal patients' psychosocial service needs and creates plan in collaboration with patient.
- Comfort working independently with regard to diagnosis, treatment planning, ongoing therapy, and discharge readiness. Demonstrates eagerness to consult with PBHS colleagues as clinically appropriate.
- Refers and advocates for clients to access community resources and services.
- Facilitates perinatal therapy groups
- Ensures proper documentation and needed billing procedures are completed as directly associated with provider’s interventions and assessments.
- Performs other duties as assigned
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Master’s degree
- Active license as Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) PsyD or other equivalent Mental Health Licensure in the State of Washington.
- Demonstrated knowledgeable about perinatal behavioral health.
- Verbal and written language skills, visual and aural skills in order to effectively communicate ensure, and provide a legal record of this care
- Accountability for professional practice, commitment to patient care, and commitment to uphold the Patient Bill of Rights.
DESIRED for the position:
- 2 – 3 years of experience providing clinical therapy
- 1 year experience in a healthcare agency/environment
- Specific certification and/or training in perinatal mental health, CBT, ACT, IPT, EMDR, or other therapeutic interventions aimed at treating perinatal moor or anxiety disorders.
