Description
Wage Range: $29.98 - $47.98 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary
Assists in the development, implementation, assessment, and organization wide compliance with the patient safety program at EvergreenHealth. Supports the coordination of a broad range of activities that support and sustain a culture of safety that encourages active identification and mitigation of risks to the safety of our patients and recognizes the individual and organizational commitment required to achieve the highest level of safety.

Primary Duties:
- Works collaboratively with the Patient Safety Officer and all levels of staff within the organization, including senior leadership, medical staff leadership, nursing, and support staff to demonstrate and build a strong culture of safety and transparency across the organization.
- Aware of local patient safety priorities and practices. Able to articulate and communicate changes/issues/trends to appropriate groups overseeing their response to the changes required.
- Works closely with Patient Safety Officer, Risk Management and Patient Relations to integrate key findings/trends for further action.
- Supports the maintenance of the SafeLinQ Event Reporting System. Identifies and communicates significant events and ensures appropriate follow up to all events.
- in collaboration with the Patient Safety Officer prepares routine and ad hoc reports to assist with the analysis of trends. Facilitates action plans as appropriate and works with leaders to ensure loop is closed with staff/physicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Associate degree
- 2 years of healthcare or related experience
- Ability to fully utilize MS Office suite of products including Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Knowledge in and the ability to apply the principles of project management and change management.
- Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the complexities of the healthcare system.
